Description
Deep in the rugged, volcanic heartlands of Argea, beneath the windswept peaks and craggy ridges where few dare to settle, dwell the Garazun—a steadfast people of burrow-dwelling Brocklings whose resilience is rivalled only by the mountains themselves.
Their labyrinthine earthwork tunnels, carved over generations, form sprawling subterranean fortresses, unyielding against time, invasion, and the tremors of the restless earth. Artworks line their corridors, made of intricately deposited sediments, displaying their craftsmanship, patience, and the wisdom of generations.
The Garazun are known for their:
- Stubborn Defiance: A Garazun burrow, once claimed, is never abandoned without a fight.
- Clan Loyalty: Family is everything—every Garazun belongs to a Torkhan (burrow-clan), bound by ancestral ties and shared labor.
- Earthwork and Metalwork: Skilled artisans, they carve intricate tunnels, forge unbreakable tools, and are renowned for their iron and bronze craftsmanship.
- Enduring Feasts: Despite their gruff demeanour, they take great joy in long feasts, sharing strong drink, hearty food, and deep laughter in the warmth of their burrows.
The Garazun see themselves as part of the earth’s great rhythm, digging deep and standing firm in a world that constantly shifts.
